Ending Partnerships

A general partnership comes into existence whenever two or more people own and operate a business together and don’t form another type of business entity such as a corporation or limited liability company. A partnership can come together informally or through the formation of a formal partnership agreement. Partnerships ordinarily do not last forever.

Juris provides sound legal advice and services for ending partnerships when events arise including when a partner resigns or withdraws, a partner retires or dies, when a dispute arises between partners, the partners agree to dissolve the partnership, or many other events that may arise resulting in ending a partnership.
